Now, I know that was a huge sentence, but it was imperative that you knew this electrifying news ASAP.

Neil Druckmann announced the news on Twitter, posting:

It really is incredible that the merging of two amazing creative juggernauts is going to happen. The veins on my forehead are bulging out over my face as I hysterically process the amazing possibilities that these two writers are capable of.

Tell Me More About Halley Gross

Naughty Dog Know What They Are Doing

Naughty Dog is one of the most recognizable AAA game developers in gaming right now, and Sony’s trust in their ability has never been let down since their partnership began. Back as 1995, Naughty Dog created one of the flagship PlayStation exclusive titles: Crash Bandicoot.

Over the years, as PlayStation has grown to be the powerhouse that we know it as today, creating widely popular PlayStation games like The Last of Us, all four of the main Uncharted entries, and the three core Jak and Daxter titles.

The impact their games have had on the world has been truly phenomenal. Just last night, my wife asked me “what’s The Last of Us?” My wife never asks me about games, so I was genuinely surprised and asked her why. It turns out she saw one of her girlfriends in her soccer team crying, and when she enquired if she was okay, her friend replied: “The Last of Us 2 has been announced.”

Hopefully now that my wife understands the impact this game has on people, she will give me the green light to buy the 75 inch 4K HDR TV that I have been pleading with her for...

All We Can Do Now Is Wait

I know, now The Last of Us 2 is confirmed to be a reality it feels unfair that it’s not already in our eager gaming hands. We likely won't be seeing the game until late 2017 at the soonest.

But bloody hell I am pumped!

How are you controlling your excitment for The Last of Us 2?
