World War I was no doubt a horrible period in our history. But while the developers at DICE are attempting to bring us as close as possible to the realities of this war, they're ultimately trying to make an enjoyable first-person shooter. So reality is certainly the selling point, but the game aims to strike a balance between truth and fantasy. For the most part it does this really well. Then something like this happens.
If the Battlefield 1 beta taught us anything—aside from the fact that some people really know how to play an FPS—it was this: DICE needs to work on the game's bugs and glitches.
But before DICE step in and clean things up, in order to commemorate Battlefield in its beta stage, CrowbCat decided to recut the announcement trailer with nothing but some of the finest glitches you've ever seen.
The Battlefield 1 Beta, Through The Eyes of Its Glitches
Here are some of the highlights that you can anticipate.
That poor, poor horse. I'm imagining him on the other side like, "Please, pleaaaaase make it stop!"
Goodbye, cruel world. I'm off.
This guy has invented a new form of air travel. GTFOing, I call it.
Da fuq is going here?
Anyway, it's high time you treated yourself to this glorious video, which features all of the original trailer's sound and music. Trust me, there's something so satisfying about listening to Wiz Khalifa scream, "Who said we can't change the world? Look how we changed the game!" as if it were DICE themselves, proud of every last glitch.
Told you that dude swimming was worth the watch.
Are you excited for a glitch free Battlefield 1?
