Would you kindly pick up the controller, because BioShock:The Collection began rolling out across North America yesterday, and will soon be releasing in Australia (and for Steam users) on September 15th, and internationally on September 16th.

But what can we expect from BioShock: The Collection when it finally releases worldwide?

Somewhere Beyond The Sea...

The most obvious (and arguably the most anticipated) inclusions within BioShock: The Collection are the remastered versions of both BioShock and BioShock 2, which have received huge graphical overhauls from their last-gen console counterparts.

As an example, you can see that the Little Sister has been given a full makeover for the transition to current-gen consoles. And it's safe to say that she's not looking so rough around the edges any more! I mean, pixelated outlines are sooooo last generation *sassy finger click*.

The latest installment in the BioShock franchise, BioShock Infinite, has also received a remaster. However, the graphics within that game were already fantastic to begin with, so any graphical overhauls are likely to be be far less obvious than those given to BioShock and BioShock 2.

As well as the three remastered titles, BioShock: The Collection will also contain all previously released singleplayer DLC, including Minerva's Den and Burial at Sea, plus an exclusive video series entitled 'Director's Commentary: Imagining BioShock'. So for all of you classic BioShock fans, BioShock: The Collection really is a circus of values!

As a huge fan of the BioShock franchise, I for one can't wait to get back to zapping splicers with my plasmids or picking stupid fights with Big Daddies using only a wrench!

So before you dive back into the towering depths of Rapture, I only have one question to ask...would you kindly save me a seat in the bathysphere?
