Rumors aplenty surround the Nintendo Switch and its potential stable of games. We've already heard talk about Skyrim coming to the console, as well as whispers that the Switch will support Gamecube games through its virtual console. Now there's a brand new and exciting rumor out for 's latest craze.

Dark Souls Series Comes To The Switch

According to Laura Dale of Let's Play , who has been the source of several leaks about previous Switch hardware information, FromSoftware may be bringing the Dark Souls trilogy to the .

Dale's source reported that FromSoftware has managed to get running on the Switch at a satisfactory performance level. There's no full confirmation yet, but the source also reported internal discussion at the company as to the financial viability of releasing all three games in the Dark Souls series in a bundle on Switch, including all the DLC. So, with that in mind, here are...

Five Games I'd Like To See On The Switch

Between the exciting Dark Souls news and the rumors flying around that you'll be able to get GameCube games on the system, I've worked up a little wish list of what I'm hoping to see on the console. Feel free to add to it yourselves, but here are the games I'd love to see Nintendo release for their Switch!

Not just the trilogy, but the original Dark Souls getting remastered for the Nintendo Switch would be amazing. All the magic of the original game with updated graphics, bug fixes and a blight-town that runs at faster than 10fps.

is all but confirmed for the Switch after Todd Howard let slip in an interview that the game would function the same on both the portable and docked modes of the console. It's been a while since I've delved into the frozen wastes of the fifth Elder Scrolls installment, but a portable version would definitely be enough to bring me back.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

One of the most ingenious and frightening horror games of all time is also one of the most difficult games to get ahold of. Available only on the original GameCube, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem was a bone chilling Lovecraft inspired adventure that featured the most inventive sanity systems of all time. Everything from terrifying apparitions out of nowhere to the game trying to convince you that your save had been corrupted could occur if you let your sanity get low. With the new rumors about GameCube ports, the dark and twisted fire of hope in my heart has been reignited for a chance to play this game again.

ZombiU 2

The original ZombiU was a flawed but fascinating take on the Zombie survival genre. The game married rogue-like elements to standard survival gameplay, as well as using the Wii U screen as a clever and tension inducing real time inventory management system. While the gameplay was somewhat flawed, a sequel that improved on the clunkier aspects while keeping the original elements that made the first one so interesting could be very fun.

WarioWare

Look, I just haven't had a good WarioWare game in ages, okay? I miss having huge chunks of time disappear while I frantically played weird mini games and picked big cartoon noses. Don't judge me.
