Just How Big Is The Destiny 2 Install Size?

Hard drive space when it comes to games is a big deal. Whether you are one to take this variable into account or not, you may want to consider clearing off a bit of room, and prepare for the game. While the game certainly won't be much bigger than Destiny, you may want to take into consideration that these games grow, and quickly thanks to post-launch support and patches.

is going to launch at a moderately hefty size of 29.15 GB on Xbox One and a solid 30.87 GB on PlayStation 4. It's safe to assume that the PlayStation 4 Pro version is slightly bigger due to the games PlayStation 4 Pro support. Will My Progress Carry Over From Destiny?

The long story short and a direct answer from DeeJ, Bungie's Community Manager, is no. The only thing that will carry over is your appearance. Gear, light level, sparrows, ships, etc, will be wiped on your Destiny 2 file.

Can I Expect To Choose A Voice For My Character?

If the Destiny 2 Closed Beta's taught us anything, we're going to be cringing a bit if you liked having a voiced character. There will not be one this time around. Your character is going to be a silent protagonist and Ghost will seemingly be acting as your voice.

Should I Buy The Season Pass?

That's your call. The Season Pass this time around seems like a pretty solid deal as they won't be pulling a multi-tier approach this time around. If they do, they may see a lot of angry Guardians storming their headquarters with a wealthy amount of complaining to be had.

If you do choose to by the season pass, there's no doubt it will take the need for making a trip to the store or hopping onto the Xbox Marketplace or PlayStation Store at a later date, so might as well save a few bucks, and do it now if you can.

Can I Play Offline?

Sorry kid, not happening. Bungie has made sure to clear the air about offline play. Destiny as a franchise is an online only cooperative experience. You'll need to have internet access in order to play. So take this into consideration before purchasing.

Do I need an Xbox Live or PlayStation Network Subscription to Play?

If you don't have one, you'll need to make this happen. You'll have to have an Xbox Live or PlayStation Network Subscription in order to play.

Last But Not Leas, What Time Do The Servers Go Live?

Since this is the biggest thing you want to know? You're looking at 12AM EST, 11PM CST, and 9PM PST.

Destiny 2 is set to launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 6, 2017. PC users can expect the game to launch on October 24, 2017 through the Blizzard launcher.
