The PS4 Pro has been revealed and is set to arrive in November, laying the groundwork for the next generation of gaming tech. The PS4 Pro is the first mid-cycle console to come out of Sony and will allow players to indulge in ultra rich 4K gaming as well as ushering in HDR compatibility (also due for regular PS4 owners via an upcoming patch).
The PS4 Pro’s updated software and overclocked CPU is capable of delivering far richer, more immersive gaming experiences. We saw some beautiful examples of this during the conference; Bioware showed off Mass Effect: Andromeda and Guerrilla Games showcased a little Horizon Zero Dawn. This beautiful 4K display gave us just a taste of what is to come.

Sony has also stated that many other games that are already available on the PS4 will soon be patched to allow for maximum levels of fidelity to be achieved when played on the PS4 Pro.
