PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has already taken Steam by storm, with die-hard fans raving about the tension-filled open world combat of this Battle Royale-inspired multiplayer shooter.
- Here's everything you need to know about PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
But like the brutal film that inspired it, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds isn't one of those forgiving or merciful #VideoGames. If you don't know where to get the best weapons, you're not going to last very long. Heck, you might not last that long anyway.
Where To Find The Best Weapons & Equipment In 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds'
The island of the #battleground is a pretty vast place, with a whole lot of pitfalls, dangers and ambush points that can leave you vulnerable to cunning players. To survive and become king of the hill in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, you'll need to scavenge the best equipment and weapons you can find while keeping your wits about you. Thankfully, we're here to #guide you on your way.
A word of warning, while these areas are the places to find the best weapons and vehicles generally, that doesn't mean they're necessarily the best places to spawn. If you're a beginner, dropping into an area with a bunch of other, more experienced players can be a death sentence, so you might want to trade safety for quality as you learn the game.

Sosnovka Military Base
When it comes to quality and amount of equipment, it's hard to beat Sosnovka. A quick run through will see you kitted out in the very best armor and weaponry, often with a vehicle to boot. Unfortunately, there's an equal chance it'll see you dead in a ditch, because everyone knows how good the loot is at Sosnovka.
Veteran players are very likely to parachute straight into the area at the start of the game and set up ambushes for unwary newbies who stumble in looking for decent weaponry. The other problem is that the base is attached to the mainland by two bridges, which can leave you as easy pickings for skilled snipers.
If you're willing to give up a little bit of loot for a bit of safety, you might want to try Georgopol instead. While the area is a bit smaller than Sosnovka, there's still plenty of weaponry to find, including some nice armor and often a few sniper rifles.
However, speaking of sniper rifles, you might want to watch out, as the tall buildings in the area make Georgopol an ideal sniper's nest. Keep your head down when you're scavenging for supplies in the area, or you might lose it.
Lipovka is probably the best trade-off in terms of safety while still containing high-end equipment. This out of the way military bunker is small, with a lot of shelter, which makes it ideal for getting in and out without too much risk of getting your brains painted on the wall.
It often contains high level armor, assault rifles, sniper rifles and scopes, so you're likely to come away with something decent. As the fight goes on though, this area can become a dangerous site for ambushes, so get in early or stay away.
Stalber might not have the highest-end gear, but it's a lot safer than some of the other areas on this list, and much less of a hot spot for experienced scavengers. The site may be out of the way, but that's a bonus when it comes to the early game, as it means that very few players are willing to venture out that far.
Mylta Power has a big variety of weaponry and armor and plenty of both. However, it rarely contains high tier weaponry, so it's a toss-up of whether you're willing to trade quality for safety. Like anywhere in Battlegrounds however, it's not completely safe, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled while you're looting the place.
Rozhok is a large area with a good amount of vehicles and equipment to find, but it's also a central zone that tends to attract a lot of attention. The equipment you'll find here is mostly basic level and the vehicles aren't the flashiest, but if you want somewhere to quickly get equipped and duck out with a vehicle, it's a great choice.
The school building itself sometimes spawns a sniper rifle or two, but I'd recommend new players stay away, as the building itself is dangerous, hard to defend and usually watched by other players looking to pick off an enemy or two.
