Like most open world games, Watch Dogs 2 can be played quickly if all you want to do is get through the main story line. But that sort of defeats the point.
#Ubisoft has put care into every mission, and that includes the driving missions. Like the first Watch Dogs, in some missions you're paid to pull off some sort of driving heist or adventure, but in Watch Dogs 2, there's a lot more variety to it.
Choosing A Mission
You start off by opening your phone and selecting the Driver SF app. Inside you'll see a list of different missions to accept (or not). For my first one I selected this interesting woman named Daredevil Liv! The description only said "Big Jumps. Lots of 'em." Oh good.
You begin your journey by following the mission nav to pick up your client. I discovered that Driver SF is essentially the Uber or Lyft equivalent in the Watch Dogs world—pimping out my driving skill for some extra skrilla. Seems good to me.
Picking Up The Client
As I quickly found out, Daredevil Liv was a very energetic YouTuber who films herself doing extreme stunts in cars. In this case, using jumps to catapult my car throughout the North Beach and Nob Hill neighborhoods in San Francisco.
Completing The Mission
Your rating will go up (or down) depending on how well (or poorly) you complete the task assigned to you—in this case, jumping my car off the cliffs of uptown San Fran. When you finish the mission, you'll get a number of Followers and Money based on how well you completed it.
When you finish you can go back to exploring the world, doing the main storyline, or picking up more clients. Just uh... make sure to get a new car if yours looks like mine did at the end.
