Earning a whopping $11 million dollars during its first week on Early Access and selling over one million copies shortly after launch, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is what you might call a rip-roaring success. But why has the game garnered all this 'dolla and attention? 'Cause it's really, really good. Simple as that.
So you've probably joined the fray and are out there in the wilds looking for anything and everything to survive in this battle royale hellscape. Whether it be handy weapons, health materials or some swanky clothes, we've had you covered. But now let's try and locate one of the greatest assets in Battlegrounds for you: a car.
How To Find A Car, Buggy, Jeep, Motorcycle, Truck, Or UAZ In 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds'
Coming from other survival games, you probably think that locating one of these auto babies is pretty hard. But it's not as bad as you think. There are a few cars scattered throughout the battlegrounds of... Battlegrounds, the only thing is that you'll never be able to predict where exactly they'll be!
In order to keep things on an even playing field, the vehicles in the game spawn in random places for every match. So if you've got your heart set on a buggy, jeep, motorcycle, truck, UAZ or just your bog standard car, you really won't be able to satisfy those desires all the time. You may arrive at a spawn point and have to share a motorcycle with the whole team. It's not ideal.
However, there are a lot of spots on the map in Battlegrounds that are known to spawn vehicles. The map below has highlighted all of the most popular spawn points in the game in the hopes that you'll get lucky!
Car Spawn Locations Map
A lot of the spawn locations for vehicles in the game are centered around industrial buildings or military areas. Makes sense, really. However that means that you're risking a lot by heading into these places at the start of a match. So, if you're really desperate for an automobile, we recommend going to one of the places on the map that features various spawn locations. Heading to that one spot down south for instance could be a serious mistake if it ain't there.
Additionally, though getting a car, buggy, jeep, motorcycle, truck or UAZ seems like the best advantage for you in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, hopping into a vehicle has its downsides. For one, you're loud. A well-placed sniper shot and you're down and it can be easy for large teams of people to come and take you out. So make sure you're ready to fight if you gotta bail!
For now though, here are all of the ground vehicles you can claim in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
Your bog standard car, capable of taking four players at a time and glitching itself out of the stratosphere if crashed.
One player, every terrain. This little things is loud and fast and should take you up some mountainsides with ease.
Pack in all of your buddies and take a stroll through the vicious countryside in the armored jeep.
The truck may be big, but my god does it feel slow and slugish. It'll fit two of you inside and maybe a few passengers standing on the back. If the engine can handle it. And I mean the game engine.
The UAZ is a lot of fun. If you find an open top version you can stroll through the countryside with friends standing up in the back taking shots.
Just your standard motorcycle. Though it's fast, you'll have little to no protection on your journey.
- Motorcycle with sidecar
Feel like a duo in a really old spy movie as you cruise around in the least stylish (but totally stylish) vehicle in the game! Just look at that sidecar, man.
So there you have it, that's it for all of the vehicles and where to find them in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. If you find out any more tricks regarding these cars and motorcycles be sure to let us know in the comments below!
