Has it really been that long? Apparently it's been four years since the timeless classic Journey was released to PS3 and then PS4. While thatgamecompany (yes, that really is their name) has been relatively quiet about upcoming titles, today they teased their next game in a huge way.

I love the cheeky "we're hiring" at the end. It's sort of the ultimate humble brag. But of course, when their latest game was loved by pretty much anyone who came within sight of it, you've earned the right to do a little humble bragging. Who wouldn't want to work for a company that built such beautiful games?

So what do we know about the new title? We know that unlike its predecessor it will be both multi-platform and multiplayer, which is good news to all of those who wanted to get their hands on #Journey, but didn't have the console to do so. Given the artistic beauty and simplistic aesthetic of Journey, we can only assume that their new game will have some of the same themes.

With their messaging on Twitter, it seems that they're off to a good start.

Did you like Journey? Does this get you excited for thatnextgame?
