Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 is Marvel’s next installment by Traveller’s Tales featuring our favorite superhero characters in Lego form. Lego has been famous for taking multiple franchises and turning them into a Lego universe.

Following after Lego Marvel Superheroes and Lego Marvel Avengers, the latest game will introduce players to the different members of the Inhumans Royal Family. Check out the latest Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 trailer below:

With Marvel's cross-platform marketing approach, it makes sense that this trailer debuted the same week of the premiere episode of ABC’s on September 29th. Though the Inhumans show has garnered poor reviews, it seems that Marvel is doing everything they can to amp up the excitement for their latest television series. There’s even a rumor that the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer will also be released the same day as the Inhumans premiere.

The Inhumans Appear In Their Comic Book Form

If there’s one thing this trailer did right, it was to make the Inhumans actually look like the Inhumans. One of the major criticisms of the TV show is that of their costume designs. However, this game goes back to their traditional outfits including Black Bolt’s signature black spandex suit complete with mask.

The game also shows off some of the Inhuman’s powers such as Medusa’s prehensile hair, Gorgon’s powerful stomp, Crystal’s psionic powers, and of course Black Bolt’s destructive, hypersonic voice. Unlike the previous trailers, this one directly advertises the Royal Family going up against Black Bolt’s brother, Maximus, who also happens to have his own little toy.

The Lego Games Utilize Comedic Relief Sparingly

One thing I give these games credit for is the humor that’s sprinkled throughout this franchise. Whether it’d be Mr. Fantastic turning into a tea pot or the Sandman changing into a sand castle, these games know how to use humor effectively.

In the latest trailer, we see Medusa making sure her hair is nice and tidy as she uses a blow dryer to it. We also find Lockjaw, the giant teleporting dog, taking a much needed siesta after a hard day's work. Heck, we even hear Black Bolt speak at one point, which is never supposed to happen.

These are the kind of moments that make these games enjoyable even if you’re not a die hard comic book or superhero fan. will be available on Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on November 14.
