While Mass Effect: Andromeda may be taking place in a completely different galaxy, one sadly bereft of our beloved Tali and Garrus, there's still room for an awesome easter egg featuring everyone's favorite Asari scientist from the series, Liara T'Soni.

It looks like there's at least one friendly face in Mass Effect: Andromeda, or rather, one friendly voice, which is probably for the best with the facial animations in the game. Players can find voice recordings from Liara T'Soni, Asari scientist and fan-favorite companion character in the Ark Hyperion while investigating their father's quarters.

The recordings are found when searching through the files on extinct species. It seems the elder Ryder contacted Liara for some expertise on the matter, and she was only too happy to send through some information.

Her recordings, obviously made quite early on in the storyline, detail her findings and deductions on the Prothean race. For anyone who encountered Javik in Mass Effect 3: From Ashes, her conclusions are ironically hilarious, as she speculates about how the Protheans were a harmonious, peace-loving culture of the highest development. I wonder how she felt when she realized the truth about the Prothean civilization.

Have you found any awesome easter eggs in Mass Effect: Andromeda? Excited to hear from Liara again? Let us know in the comments!
