Mass Effect: Andromeda is here and BioWare has tapped some serious talent to help bring the game's characters to life. We're enjoying getting to know all the Mass Effect characters we're fighting against, exploring alongside, and, BioWare being BioWare, falling in love with.
The #Andromeda cast is an interesting bunch, with some big name talent such as Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer and industry stalwart Clancy Brown taking on supporting roles, while the voices for Ryder the player avatar are relative unknowns.

Natalie Dormer As Dr. Lexi T'Perro
Natalie Dormer, who's played the Game of Thrones and the Games of Hunger, tries her hands at RPGs in the role of Asari Doctor, Lexi T’Perro. Her wisdom and experience allows her to act in an advisory capacity to the Pathfinder, in addition to evaluating their physical and mental well-being.

Clancy Brown As Alec Ryder
Veteran actor Clancy Brown has been all over TV, animation and video games and his deep, resonant voice has made him a go-to guy for villains and authority figures. In Mass Effect: Andromeda he's the latter, taking on the role of your dad Alec Ryder.

Fryda Wolff As Sara Ryder
Fryda Wolff, pictured above repping a Critical Role shirt, is no stranger to nerdery and is the voice of female protagonist Sara Ryder. It's no easy task following up Jennifer Hale's superb FemShep from the previous Mass Effect titles, but Wolff's definitely got the chops for it.

- Stacy/Everywoman in Octodad: Dadliest Catch
- Vault Security in Fallout 4
Tom Taylorson As Scott Ryder
Tom Taylorson and Fryda Wolff are working together again in Mass Effect: Andromeda, with Tom providing the voice of male protagonist Scott Ryder. Tom's not exactly a big name in the industry but this should hopefully help players slip into the role without being reminded of other characters.
- Octodad / Chef Fujimoto / Everyman in Octodad: Dadliest Catch

Gethin Anthony As Gil Brodie
Another Game of Thrones cast member plays Gil Brodie in Mass Effect: Andromeda, the chief engineer aboard the Tempest. Gil has at least something in common with Gethin Anthony's GoT role, as it's confirmed by BioWare that a male Ryder will be able to flirt with him.

- William in Copenhagen
Katy Townsend As Dr. Suvi Anwar

A Motley Crew
Deep, believable characters with real personalities have always been key to the success of Mass Effect and BioWare's RPG franchises generally. From the looks of it, Andromeda's definitely got the voice talent it needs to bring these characters to life.
I'm already excited to see Clancy Brown and Natalie Dormer's reactions when I tell them to screw themselves, Renegade-style.
What do you think about the voice cast of Mass Effect: Andromeda? Who would you pick for the roles?
