Mass Effect: Andromeda is slated to release Spring 2017, but if you just can't wait to throw your wallet at BioWare, the game is already available for pre-order. As revealed via Origin, the pre-order bonuses include:

  • Deep Space Explorer Armor - Looking for armor that can stand up to anything a brand new galaxy can dish out? Pre-order and you'll get to gear up with Deep Space Explorer Armor.
  • Multiplayer Booster Pack - Jumpstart your multiplayer co-op play with a booster pack. Includes 5x of 50% XP Boosters.
  • Nomad Skin - Make sure your Nomad really stands out while you're exploring mysterious new planets with this unique skin.

Though further bonuses may appear before the game's release date, this relatively short list of benefits is quite the relief after navigating the mire that is Final Fantasy XV pre-orders.

If you're a die-hard Mass Effect fan, however, you probably have your eyes on a Deluxe edition of the game. Origin has revealed those details, too. Note: These are not pre-order bonuses, but simply the contents of the Deluxe edition of the game.

  • Pathfinder Casual Outfit - Nobody wants to wear their uniform 24/7. Whether you're relaxing aboard the Tempest or exploring a friendly space dock, this casual outfit will help you look your best.
  • Scavenger Armor - Stand out from the crowd, even when you're planetside on a deadly new world.
  • Pathfinder Elite Weapon Set (4) - Ditch the standard gear and go Elite. Battle your way through Andromeda with this unique set of weapons.
  • Pet Pyjak - You know you want one. Bring your very own space monkey aboard the Tempest to join you on your journey.
  • Digital Soundtrack - Kick back and enjoy the incredible music of Mass Effect anywhere you go with this digital download.
  • Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack - Get a head start on Day 1 co-op play with the Multiplayer Launch Pack which includes weapons and equipment to kick start your progress.

Sorry, EA, but a pet monkey is the exact opposite of what I want. In fact, I might be willing to pay extra to get rid of the pyjak. Monkeys are dangerous, terrifying creatures. Reapers? No problem. Monkeys? Get out.

Anyway, if you were a fan of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer, you might also be interested in Andromeda's Super Deluxe Edition. In addition to all of the benefits of the Deluxe edition, an extra $30 (totaling $99.99) for the Super Deluxe will also deliver weekly multiplayer Premium Packs for 20 weeks. How many packs per week? How many total packs? We're not sure. If you laid down cash for the multiplayer in Mass Effect 3, though, this may be a deal worth considering. If you have no interest in the multiplayer at all, the Super Deluxe definitely is not for you.

And if that isn't enough, let's not forget the absolutely bonkers Collector's Edition discovered earlier this month.

Do you have any plans to pre-order Andromeda? While I avoid pre-ordering games as much as possible, Mass Effect is a hard one to resist. Even after all this time, the franchise has me by the heartstrings. That trailer, though!
