Board game producer Fantasy Flight announced that they will be releasing a Fallout board game. Whilst it might not be another port of Skyrim, the game sounds like it will be a must buy for any Bethesda fans.

Releasing at the end of the year, the game will use stories from both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 with masses of expansions expected in the years to come. The game involves up to four players as they set out to explore the wastes, scrounging for gear to survive the nuclear wasteland.

Upon release, the game will have four quests to choose from involving factions and companions. However, just like when I play Fallout, players can choose to make their own adventures; wanderers can decide to explore the mysterious locations on offer, go after the main factions or simply explore the vaults.

As the game progresses, you will be able to develop and build your character with the classic S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system making an appearance. So, whether you build a muscle bound, gun nut or a charismatic, smooth talker is up to you as you bumble your way around the board.

The Fallout board game will release at the back end of the year for $59.99. More information can be found on the Fantasy Flight website.
