During tonight's Switch event, Nintendo finally revealed the price we've all been speculating on for a while now. When the Switch launches on March 3rd, it will cost $300.

This price isn't all that shocking — though not the $250 a lot of players were expecting — given Nintendo's history of reasonably priced consoles, but is no less a relief for anyone who can't wait to get their hands on one. Of course, a decent price and solid launch line-up make it all the more difficult to grab one on launch day, so keep your eyes peeled for pre-orders.

If you can't wait to get more news on the Switch, there is another Nintendo event happening in less than 12 hours (January 13th at 6:30 a.m. PST). This Tree House Live broadcast is expected to take a closer look at the upcoming titles we saw revealed tonight. We'll be sure to cover all the details as they arrive, but in the meantime, we have plenty more Switch info to hold you over!

Do you think this is a good price for the Switch? Will you be pre-ordering one?
