Developer Red Barrel, is so confident that their upcoming Outlast 2 game will cause such a storm of uncontrollable sphincter spasms, they have decided to start a new Kickstarter called the Underscares. I am not shitting you, Outlast 2 is predicted to be so scary that this game is offering an adult diaper accessory.
You shat, we listened. Introducing Underscares, the Outlast 2 companion diaper. Because when you’re scared, #2 can become problem #1.
With 142 backers already signed up, and $10,580 dollars pledged, the Underscares is well on it's way to being a real life companion of choice for Outlast fans.
The Underscares Has You Covered
Everyone knows that to really get into a game, you need pants off, underwear gameplay. With that in mind, is it too corny to turn that winning underwear combination on its turtle head by switching to an adult diaper?
we developed a diaper prototype that combines practicality, comfort and style so gamers can experience abject terror without worrying about dirtying their egos (or their couches)
And no, according to the Kickstarter, it's not a joke according the FAQ:
I think the dilemma could be taking it too far i.e. from solely a risk aversion device towards the slippery slope of lazy convenience– “well it is a diaper.”
Outcast 2 must be scary, sudden bowel displacement is advertised to be a real and protruding risk. A more practicable solution could be to avoid curries and spicy food.
Will You Be Willing To Contribute?
The financial milestone to begin production of the Underscares is $40,000 by Friday, Dec 9 2016, at 3:59 PM AEDT. So far, the average pledge amount has been over $50 - indicating backers see the potential benefit in such an investment.
If you are still a nonbeliever about the possible success of this project, then speak to Zack Danger Brown and his Kickstarter, Potato Salad. Zack amazingly raised $55,492 to accomplish his dream of making the perfect potato salad - how awesome is that!
With games such as Outlast 2, the Underscares may have disturbingly solidified their unique place as a combatant to the possibility of having two problems to contend with.
Horror Scares The Shit Out Of Me
Red Barrel have really gone all out with the Underscares, and for good reason. The possibility that you could uncontrollably defecate yourself during a video game is not a pleasant thought for most.
No one really wants their rear bud to make a distinct impression on their undergarments, and for once a developer appears to understand the impact their game will have on the audience.
All we can do now is pledge our support for the Underscares, cross our legs and pray that this innovative Kickstarter will receive enough deposits to reach their goal.
I am sorry, no more pooh jokes!
Do you see yourself wearing the Underscares?
