Persona 5 has been out for an entire month now in Japan, but loyal fans of the series stateside have a bit longer to wait before the game's much-anticipated English release (four months to be exact). Atlus's ban on public spoilers has made any detailed information about the game's characters, features, and story harder to find than a needle in a haystack, further forcing Western fans to do nothing but twiddle their thumbs and gnaw off their own limbs in tortuous impatience.
Today, however, we're finally able to paint the town in vibrant Persona 5 red with a localization update of aural proportions! The official English cast for the game's central characters has finally been released, and we've got the scoop on every one of the actors and actresses to grace the long-running series with their voices.

- Xander Mobus as the protagonist
Xander Mobus is probably most well-known for his role as both the announcer and Master/Crazy Hands from Super Smash Bros. Wii U. He's also had roles in both Disgaea 5 and Tales of Zestiria.

- Cassandra Morris as Morgana
Cassandra Morris has done work on countless anime. Some of her most notable characters include Kyubey of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Avery of both the original and new Sailor Moon series, and Leafa of Sword Art Online. As far as video games go, she was the voice of Edea of Bravely Default, Sumomo Uejima of Persona 4, and Nami of League of Legends among many others.
- Max Mittelman as Ryuji Sakamoto
Some of Max Mittelman's most recognizable roles include Leo of Fire Emblem: Fates, Tredd Furia of Final Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive, and Fidel Camuze of Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. He's also starred in a number of anime titles such as One Punch Man (Saitama) and Seven Deadly Sins (King).
- Erika Harlacher as Ann Takamaki
Some of Erika Harlacher's most recognizable roles in anime include Kurapika of the new Hunter x Hunter series and Elizabeth Liones of the Seven Deadly Sins. Game-wise, she's played the voices of Kyoko Kirigiri from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Ayesha Altugle, the titular character of Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk.
- Matt Mercer as Yusuke Kitagawa
Matt Mercer has played a number of big names in anime. In particular, Levi of Attack on Titan, Kiritsugu Emiya of Fate/zero, and both the original and new Prince Diamond in Sailor Moon. Game-wise, he's even more well-known, lending his voice to Cor Leonis from the upcoming Final Fantasy XV, McCree from Overwatch, Chrom from Fire Emblem: Awakening and Super Smash Bros. Wii U, and Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil 6. He was also the voice of Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4.
- Cherami Leigh as Makoto Niijima
Old-school anime fans will probably recognize Cherami Leigh's voice immediately as Sailor Venus of Sailor Moon fame, but she's also done a slew of other anime voices: Mika Shimotsuki of Psycho-Pass, Asuna Yuuki of Sword Art Online, and Lucy Heartfilia of Fairy Tail to name a few. She's no slouch when it comes to games either—she's landed roles in Borderlands 2, Disgaea 5, and Street Fighter 5.
- Erica Lindbeck as Futaba Sakura
Erica Lindbeck's most titular role is none other than... Barbie?! But yes, she's played the voice of Barbie in a number of different Barbie animations and movies, which is quite a feat! She's also lent her voice to games such as Phoenix Wright, The Legend of Heroes, and multiple Atelier games.
- Xanthe Huynh as Haru Okumura
Xanthe Huynh has lent her voice to a wide variety of RPGs in the past—everything from Rune Factory, to Luminous Arc, to The Legend of Heroes, and the Atelier series. She's also appeared in a few anime titles, most notably as Sachi in Sword Art Online and Ui Hirasawa in K-ON!
- Robbie Daymond as Goro Akechi
The dashing Robbie Daymond has been stealing girls' hearts with his voice since 1995 as Tuxedo Mask/Darien in Sailor Moon. He's also the voice of the energetic Prompto Argentum of the upcoming Final Fantasy XV, as well as other lead characters such as Sorey of Tales of Zestiria.
