The internet exploded Friday during the #BlizzCon opening ceremony when #Sombra hacked in and showed her skills. If you haven't yet seen her reveal trailer Infiltration or origin story video, you should definitely check those videos out.
Sombra was playable all weekend long during BlizzCon, but the rest of the world hasn't been able to get their hands on her—until now. She's now available on the Public Test Realm (PTR), and you can try her out in standard 6 vs. 6 games, or in the new 1 vs. 1 and 3 vs. 3 modes that were teased during BlizzCon.
As with all PTR releases of new heroes, we now get to look at all her assets including skins, emotes, victory stances, highlight intros, and player icons.
If Poison Ivy was a hacker instead of a botanist, this is the result.
Sometimes Sombra just wants to set the world on fire.
...and then put it out again. That is one cool skin.
This is very suave, and the muted color scheme just works.
This skin strikes me as being really similar to her other green skin.
Now we're talking! Shut up and take my money! Finally, we get to her ultimate skins:
These two skins feature her as part of the Los Muertos gang that plagues the streets of Dorado as seen in Soldier 76's origin story.
Of course any hacker skins wouldn't be complete without exploring her futuristic cyberpunk aspect.
Here is Sombra in her classic pink, but with more black and grey trim.
This is a skin I can get behind, Sombra really looks great in blue. This might be my favorite skin on the bunch.
Next there are Sombra's emotes, which show off her flair for the dramatic and sarcastic.
I guess we're not cool enough for Sombra to talk to. I guess we can wait for her to kill us again.
I wish hacking in real life was this cool. Take a bow, Sombra!
Of course, coolest of all are her highlight intros that further show off her witty personality.
How can you not love Sombra? That cheeky smile, that style and flair. I think it's safe to say that we've all been won over by her.
