Dishonored 2 is a gorgeous game. Developer Arkane Studios drew much of the game's look from traditional techniques. Under the direction of Sébastien Mitton, Dishonored 2's art director, the team at Arkhane produced concept art worthy of museum walls—and that's exactly where it ended up. Paintings and sculptures from the concept art process of Dishonored 2's production were introduced to the Art Ludique museum in Paris, France from October 2015 until March 2016.

"I’ve often thought our art pieces were not only good enough to help our games’ art direction, but they also deserved to be admired in an actual museum," Mitton told Bethesda last year.

The exhibit is no longer running, but you can still admire Dishonored 2's concept art. Here's a roundup of our favorite pieces from Lucie Minne, Cedric Peyravernay, Sergey Kolesov, and Piotr Jabłoński.
