Now that the Skyrim special edition is out, and it's pretty certain we'll be seeing it on Switch, I've been taking the time to delve back into the world of the Elder Scrolls and remember everything I love about the games. And of course, in true fashion, I've already installed a dozen or so mods, including Galandil's awesome 'Holds' mod.
If there's one thing I adore the most about the #ElderScrolls series, it's the amount of detail and attention that Bethesda puts into the design of their world. From the chunky aesthetics of the Dwemer to the jagged shells of dark elf Chitin armor, things in #Skyrim just look so cool you want to have them in the real world.
Insane Cosplay Creations Inspired By Skyrim and Morrowind.
Luckily, cosplayer and crafter WhiteDemon19 (aka Valara Atran) is creating some of the coolest Skyrim and Morrowind inspired costumes and props we've ever seen. The Russia-based genius is bringing all of our Elder Scrolls dreams to life. Here she is in her incredibly cool Redoran Guard outfit.
Valara crafted the entire set of armor from scratch, as well as her replica of the legendary Daedric Crescent. The detail on these is absolutely mind blowing!
And of course, after all that hard work, sometimes a Redoran guard just has to sit and chill a while on a beautiful replica set of Balmora.
Valara also created an amazing cosplay of Dagoth Ur from Morrowind, including outfits for her followers, and a hand crafted Dwemer puzzle cube.
She's not just recreating costumes from Morrowind though, Valara is making awesome Skyrim based costumes and props as well. The fantastically talented cosplayer built herself a full set of Dragonscale armor for a cosplay competition, as well as an awesome Dunmer make-up job. She really looks the part of the Dragonborn, right down to that Fus-Ro-Dah scream.
You can check out more of Valara's creations on her Tumblr and Deviantart, including an awesome Raiden costume from Metal Gear Rising. She's also got some immensely talented friends, check out this lineup from a meet-up she was in. Can you name everyone there?
What do you think of Valara Atran's costumes? Do you know any awesome cosplayers making their own stuff?
