If like me you become engrossed with any Let's Play series on , then it's odds on likely that you have come across Totally Accurate Battle Simulator at some point. Now, you're on the verge of finally getting your hands on your very own copy of the actual game, with the developer planning to release an open alpha very soon. All you have to do is get in touch on the studio website, and it's all yours.

Let The Battle Commence

TABS looks like one of the most innovative and fun games to be released in the past couple of years. It's a physics-driven that allows you to pit doll-like humans against one another, with varying weapons and environments. You set up your battle scenarios, then watch them beat the hell out of each other.

There is a single-player campaign of sorts, where you choose your army to face one set up by the CPU, as well as a sandbox environment where you create custom battles to your heart's content. Both of these will feature new units, weapons and landscapes, different to those we have been teased with in trailers and so far.

Developed by LandFall, the Swedish studio responsible for such titles as , Air Brawl and Nuclear Business, TABS has been a very popular choice among the game streamers community, so sales are likely to be impressive upon its release. From the gameplay videos and trailers alone, it looks like a hell of a lot of fun. The physics are insane and there's something rather hilarious about watching your chosen armies go at each other in such a bizarre manner. To get your hands on the alpha, all you have to do is get in touch with LandFall and fill put the online form. The alpha will then be sent straight to you.

LandFall has confirmed that anyone who signs up will definitely get a copy of the alpha, although it's only supported on computers for the time being. Sorry, . The game is entirely free for now, and is expected to be officially released around mid 2017.

Will you be playing this quirky simulator?
