Not Your Average Expansion

While it's true that The Lost Legacy will be an expansion to Uncharted 4, Naughty Dog's head of communications Arne Meyer makes the title seem like a full-fledged game:

"Years ago, when we were asked if we were ever doing a single-player expansion for Uncharted we always said, 'Well, we don't have the self-discipline to do that,' If we tried to do that we'd create a full game. There's no way we could constrict and restrain ourselves, and that's exactly what was happening here. When we were doing story pitches, we were coming up with a game that would be over ten hours long and so we suddenly realised everything we said was true and we couldn't keep it short."

There appears to be a significant amount of passion behind the project, which comes as no surprise for a studio such as Naughty Dog.

Furthermore, it's been said that the expansion's story lasts an average of ten hours—not bad!

Jak And Daxter Pre-order Bonuses

As with all games nowadays, The Lost Legacy comes with a couple of pre-order bonuses depending on where you buy. The most appealing of which is Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy remastered for , free at select (currently unannounced) retailers.

In addition to this, those who pre-order on PS Store will get an exclusive theme, which we all know is less than preferable to a free game.

And there's great news for those who put up the extra cash for Uncharted 4's DLC extras. According to Naughty Dog:

If you picked up the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Digital Deluxe Edition, Explorer’s Pack, or the Triple Pack, you’ll get Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as a digital download at launch. Owners of these products are not eligible for any pre-order bonuses.

With all these incentives, it's almost as if Sony really wants players to give the first Uncharted game without a chance.
