You can't get much bigger than The Walking Dead when it comes to prime time television. The hit show based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman is already on its seventh season and doesn't show any signs of losing momentum. If anything, this season is looking to be the most talked about, most riveting, and most emotionally trying season yet!

Which is exactly why you won't wanna miss out on this opportunity to step inside that world of hopelessness and brutality while you still can, with Next Games' The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land for iOS and Android.

Experience the Thrills on TV, then Live the Thrills on Your Phone!

The Walking Dead: No Man's Land is a turn-based app originally released in September of 2015. It describes itself as a "thrilling, action-packed RPG where tactical choices make the difference between life and death." Throughout the game, you'll have to make tough decisions about who to bring on your team and how best to approach situations—do you snipe zombies from afar or get yourself bloody in hand-to-hand combat? Whatever choices you make will have to keep you alive!

To put it simply, it plays like a strategy RPG, only with The Walking Dead characters and a whole lotta zombies.

Now, games based on TV shows and movies are nothing new, and their hit-or-miss track record means even the most zealous of fans might not find themselves rushing out to play as their favorite characters in some half-assed, wonkily controlled version of their beloved shows and movies.

But the one thing The Walking Dead: No Man's Land has going for it is its integration with the show itself. The game will actually sync up with the show every week! Meaning you can watch the new episode, then whip out your phone for exclusive, updated content on that very same episode! That's like... two for the price of one!

What kind of content and features can I expect?

So far, we've received confirmation on the following kinds of content to be made available immediately following new episodes on Mondays:

  • New characters
  • Bonus themes
  • Special cuts
  • Behind-the-scenes videos

But even that's just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. Considering the game will continue to be updated with new content for the entirety of season 7, who knows what kinds of surprises and exclusive content Next Games will end up throwing our way. After all, their game is now the "official mobile game of The Walking Dead." Seems AMC is working closely with them to create a seamless, integrated experience for fans of the show. As Teemu Huuhtanen, chief executive officer of Next Games, said in a press release:

"We’re excited to work with AMC to expand the connections between the worlds of the TV series and game, giving fans an experience that continues to stay true to the show they love."

Sounds sweet! Where can I download the game?

Where you download the game depends on the operating system of your phone. iPhone user? Head over to the iTunes store! Android user? Head over to the Play Store! Simply type in "The Walking Dead" and it's sure to be the first thing that pops up. If that's too difficult, though, here's some handy links for both the Android and iOS versions.

As for accessing all that new content, it'll be automatically unlocked every Monday following the week's new episode—you'll just have to launch the game!
