Warning: Spoilers for Telltale's Walking Dead Season 1 & 2
Now, if you have played the first two seasons, then you and I have been painfully waiting for The Walking Dead: Season 3 – especially after the cliffhangers at the end of Season 2.
Based on what we know so far, The Walking Dead: Season 3 is going to play with our emotions all over again and we'll be screaming, crying, laughing, getting angry, and generally keeping on our toes. If you haven't seen the trailer for Season 3 yet, take a gander below.
1. The Ending You Picked In Season 2 Could Make a Real Difference
I won't just name all the endings here for you because this article is already full of other spoilers, but there are some doozies. The fact is that depending on what you chose to do at the end of Season 2 will make a huge difference in Season 3.
Based on your actions, some people will have died, survived, or have unknown fates. Not only that, but the ending will also determine where you will end up in Season 3. There are three different places to start at, and that could end up changing the entirety of Season 3 for you which is pretty exciting.
2. Clementine Is Finally All Grown Up
Just think about it for a second: if you watched the trailer above then you got to see that Clem is not a little girl anymore. She has survived two seasons and many years in the zombie wasteland since she was a little girl in Season 1.
I don't know about you, but I got a little emotional when I saw her as old as she was! We've really seen her grow up.
She started out as just a scared little girl, then went to being a semi-confident but unlucky young adolescent, and has now turned into a strong, confident, bad-ass young woman! With everything she has been through she's got to have some crazy resilience, and being able to follow her journey over the years has been awesome.
3. Clementine Being With Alvin Jr.
One of the biggest things of Season 2 was Alvin Jr. being born and we still had him no matter what ending we chose. We know he's still alive after all the years between Season 2 and 3 because he shows up in an E3 picture, which you can see at the top of this post.
There will be a ton of times I am sure that Alvin Jr. is going to pull a "Carl" from the show: people are going to try and protect him, and some are going to die trying. Keeping Alvin Jr. alive during Season 3 is going to be crazy hard, but we can be sure to protect him like Lee (tear) protected Clementine.
And speaking of Lee...
4. We Get to See How Much Lee Shaped Clementine
We will finally be able to see Clementine's true colors after all these years with how Lee taught her to live. Maybe the gun training or the courage Lee showed her will stick, and she will be the bad-ass we all are expecting.
Maybe Clem could even become a bit villainous depending on how your Lee handled certain situations, such as when Lee has to choose between killing or sparing Andy, the man-eating dairy farmer. Hell, we have no idea, maybe she will she be the stoic-but-deadly type. We have absolutely no idea what she's going to be like, but one thing is for sure.
She has only had hard times since the beginning, and there will be more to come, but with all of these experiences comes acclimation. I wonder how much she has acclimated to the zombie apocalypse because of the advice Lee gave to her in Season 1. After all these years, it'll be fun to see exactly how much Clementine has remembered.
The Walking Dead: Season 3, Chapter 1 will be coming to us sometime late November, 2016. While these aren't be the only things that are going to be pretty crazy this season, they are the highlights I am looking forward to.
What are you looking forward to in The Walking Dead: Season 3 and why?
