Unless a game is locked away behind the not-always-liked , it can usually be found on Steam. So no one would really blame you if you went searching for Dead Rising 4 today and assumed it wasn't actually available on PC after seeing no signs of it on Steam. At first glance, it would look like your only option to play Dead Rising 4 is on .

However, the game is available on , and it's available for download from... well, probably not somewhere you would have thought to look, to be honest.

You Have To Get 'Dead Rising 4' From The Microsoft Store

Hopefully the above unintentional rhyming of that subheading puts you in high enough spirits to outweigh the inconvenience of purchasing through the Microsoft Store, which is probably not something you've done very often (or ever). And while Microsoft doesn't make it the easiest to find, we have you covered.

If you want to download Dead Rising 4 for your PC, you'll want to head on over to the Dead Rising 4 store page. Note that this link takes you to the Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game, a season pass, and "X-Fists," which are basically Hulk gloves that can smash through zombies with pomp and splendor.

None of this is to say that the game will never be available on Steam, though. The first three titles are available on the Steam store, and the series is a product of Capcom, not Microsoft.

So if you have an intense aversion to the Microsoft store, there's still hope down the line. Everyone else, you'll just have to bite the bullet and make what could very well be your first Microsoft Store purchase ever.

Will you be getting Dead Rising 4 on the PC?
