When you think of Telltale Games you probably think of The Walking Dead series or Wolf Among Us narrative video games. They haven't really stepped out of that story telling aspect, but that is about to change with their latest release. The newest game from Telltale Games is going to be a first person shooter. Telltale's publishing division just recently began publishing games, with its first being Jackbox 'Party Pack.' Telltale will continue publishing with The Fun Pimp's '7 Days To Die' zombie survival game which was previously only on available on Steam.

The game had a successful Kickstarter which put it up on Steam on December 2013, and since then has amassed over 1.5 million fans. The game will now be available for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One by June of this year for $30. I bet you're wondering whats so great about the game anyways, so let me tell you why its so hyped. The game plays a a sort of sandbox style game as the official Wikipedia reads:

first-person shooter, survival horror, and role-playing games combining combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth

The game looks to set itself apart from the many different zombie shooters we have now a days with its different mechanics. If you're thinking about pre-ordering the game for the consoles you'll be treated to exclusives from Telltale. The exclusives will come in the form of five skins from their Walking Dead game which include Michonne and Lee. It will also include a split screen multiplayer mode and additional online multiplayer modes on both console versions.

It looks this year will be a very busy one for Telltale indeed with games such as 'Game Of Thrones Season 2', 'Minecraft Story', 'The Walking Dead Season 3', and the highly anticipated Batman game. The '7 Days To Die' game looks to just add more to this already massive line up and is sure to be a truly invigorating game this year. Although the trailer didn't give much of the gameplay for the trailer and only set up the type of feel the game had i believe we should be excited. We should be hearing more about it and perhaps some gameplay pretty soon but until then keep checking out the awesome trailer:
