Unless you've been living in a cave these past few months, you probably heard about the rumors placing a potential new Assassin's Creed in ancient Egypt and possibly introducing brand new mechanics to the franchise.

While this possible new destination remains a rumor, some elements points toward it being true, and the latest tweet from Ashraf Ismail (Black Flag director) will most certainly add to the chin wag:

It is indeed cryptic, and intriguing to say the least. It would certainly mean that this project will be announced in the coming months. Maybe at E3?

Another person then tweeted, trying to obtain some Assassin's Creed-related information, obviously without any success:

The odd thing is that Ismail quickly deleted his second tweet right after. Was he giving away too much only by answering to this particular question? Or is he messing with our heads only to make us talk (and write)?

I have no idea, and you probably don't either but that's the fun of it. For what it's worth, I do think this project is AC-related but that's just my opinion. Anyway, the E3 will certainly be the event to follow if you want to learn anything about this mysterious game.
