Hey guys, if you haven't noticed already, Super Smash Bros. Melee will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Yes 15 years ago saw the release of the exceptional sequel to the N64's surprisingly taut Nintendo All-Starts brawl 'em up.

And what better way would there to be to celebrate this line-up of incredible fighters, than the coming together of an line-up of incredible animators tasked with making one hell of a homage to the GameCube classic.

30 different artists teamed up with The Reanimation Station to inject their individual styles into this animated interpretation of Melee's opening sequence, which took them almost a year to complete. Its like for like sequences are intense and very, very well crafted.
