Uncharted 4: A Thief's End feels like a heartfelt love letter to the franchise, packed full of inside references, subtle easter eggs and knowing winks that only true fans will appreciate.

Early on in the game you find yourself in Drake's domestic man cave, surrounded by memorabilia collected throughout his travels. Uncharted veterans will no doubt recognize a bunch of items in this room, found in previous games, but did you spot them all?

Warning: Spoilers be here!

1. An old pal

From: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Uncharted 3's Charlie Cutter is actually mentioned twice in the game, but this sticky note -- which reads "write Charlie back" -- is the first nod to the Brit with a penchant for headbutts.

It seems Nate has fallen out of touch with his former friend, reminding himself to reunite former ties.

2. The silver skull

From: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

This rather grim treasure was found in the first game's fifteenth chapter, On the Trail of the Treasure.

3. A handy fellow

From: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Remember this multi-armed statue's full sized friend, which Chloe and Nate ran into during their hunt for the lost city Shambhala? Here he is:

4. Thieving fashionista

From: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Recognize this dashing fur-lined number? Nate wore it during his mountainous trek across Tibet's snow-covered peaks.

Speaking of Uncharted 2's Tibetan treks...

5. Tenzin returns

From: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Fan favorite Tenzin gets a shout out as Drake takes a moment to remember his loyal Himalayan guide. Though we never hear a word of English from him, good old T-dog remains one of the most memorable characters in the series.

6. A formerly lost coin

From: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

This ancient Spanish coin was found in a German U boat stranded in the middle of the jungle all those years ago...

It's one of the few gold coins Nate actually saved from an adventure.

7. Marco...

From: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

This is a small one, but references a (totally missable) moment from the second game in which Nate tries to play a certain game in the pool...

Never gets old.

8. Saved by the book

From: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Sir Francis Drake's fabled diary saved Sully from certain death in the first game, stopping a bullet that was heading straight to his heart. You can still see the hole that remains here.

9. Hazardous material

From: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

This small vial of resin references the Tree of Life found at the end of Drake's second adventure. He used the material as UV light to reveal ancient markings left by Marco Polo, revealing the location of Shambhala.

10. Desert wear

From: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Eagle eyed fans will spot the neck scarf Drake wore to keep sand out of his face during his treacherous journey across the Rub' al Khali desert.

11. Remembering a portable adventure

From: Uncharted: Golden Abyss

This easy-to-miss note reads "send to Marisa," in reference to Marisa Chase from the franchise's one-off Vita game.

12. I thought I killed you already

From: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

This face on this bullseye target hanging from Drake's ceiling looks suspiciously like psychopathic mercenary Zoran Lazarević, who you can kill all over again (with rubber bullets this time).

How many references did you spot?
