With less than two weeks to go, the hype for the latest The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion pack just got higher with the latest Blood & Wine trailer launch. This two minute peek has me more excited than ever to get my hands on this DLC! So what does it tell us about the world of Toussaint?
Not much of a surprise, but like the rest of the Witcher 3, it looks amazing! Toussaint is packed with awe-inspiring 'natural' beauty that would surely draw tourists from around the globe were it a real location on earth.
Described as being safe from the savages of war, even the monster lairs look pristine!
Toussaint is going to be big. This is bound to mean a bevy of side missions that allow you to scour all corners of the island. With images of large cities, expansive crop fields, and glorious mountain ranges, the land is going to be variable too.
The promise of untouched treasure will make exploring the lands a lot of fun.
There's plenty of Drinking and Debauchery
This place sounds like paradise. The finest wines to drink, food galore, people never want for companionship and no one ever goes anywhere without a drink in their hand? Count me in!
What does this mean for the game though? Well, I am hoping it means more brothels to frequent, more Gwent to be played, and more fighting matches to be had.
New Monsters Live Here
Toussaint has a secret. These vampire-like creatures look vicious! Monsters that only hunt in the night, this is sure to give the battle scenes a very eerie feel. While not much else is revealed about these beasts, one thing is sure - they are scary as F**.
While we also get a sneak peek at a few other dreadful beasts, we will have to wait until the release to find out more about their deadly abilities.
With over 30 hours of gameplay inside, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine releases on May 31st worldwide.
