Nintendo of Japan recently announced the arrival of patch 1.1.6 for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, and fans feared for the the worst. The patches have a notorious record for scrambling up unofficial tier lists, and no one wants to suffer what Diddy Kong fans went through in the past few consecutive patches.

According to Random Talking Bush (known for digging deep into the data files of Smash) on Twitter, Bayonetta is the only character who will be receiving any updates.

Bayonetta was the final character that was added to the game as DLC, so naturally there are adjustments to be made. For those of you who are skillful enough to main her, don't fret! The patch notes don't look so bad. Most updates to Bayonetta are downsizing her kicks and her up special, Witch Twist. The infamous Witch Time move remains untouched, so far.

Could this be the final patch for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS? If there were to be another patch, what characters do you hope to see rebalanced?
