Fallout 4 is set in a world ravaged by nuclear war – the once beautiful scenery incinerated in an instance – war never changes. The Fallout series takes place after a world war that saw the first real exchange of intercontinental nuclear arms. The Fallout of this war is where we pick up the game – a bleak barren world. The wasteland is saturated with radiation and because of this there is no real life left within the soil. In Fallout 4 the landscape is populated with mostly dead and decaying vegetation and rusty old mechanical remains. But the Last of Us however, is a different story.
In The Last of Us, we are again dropped into a post-apocalyptic world but this time it was a virus that saw the end of humanity. With no nuclear radiation t speak of the world simply lived on in our absence. The world became one big greenhouse – with no horticultural interference at all the world was a rich and lush greenery of Eden. If of course you ignore the infected monsters.
Fallout 4 has no level cap, so, in theory it is a game that can be played for years – it is certainly big enough. With this in mind the idea of mods like this really come into their own. The idea of spending years in the sparse landscapes of Fallout 4 is a little depressing but having the ability to experience the world of Fallout in a Naughty Dog, Last of Us type environment is utterly thrilling.
This collection of mods all bundled into one package named; Fallout Resurrection will transform your Fallout world that is more than reminiscent of The Last of Us universe. Rich grasslands, thick forests and deep blue lacks will make it seem like you are playing a totally new game.
To make this work you will need to grab the following mods –
- Photorealistic Commonwealth
- P99, Adventurer Outfit 4K
- Caliente’s Beautiful Bodies Enhancer -CBBE
- True Storms – Wasteland Edition
Grab all those and you are golden – you may need a half decent PC to run all at once but this is expected with any visual enhancement mod.
Fallout 4 console mods are currently in their beta stage so whether this will make it to the console editions is still yet to be realised. I for one certainly hope so, as this is one mod that everyone needs to appreciate.
Would you like to play Fallout 4 in this new environment?
