It's almost time for the summer fun to begin and that means only one thing, we are about to begin learning about the latest and hottest coming to the video game world. The time is now upon as E3 is right around the corner and with that is many games that will be on their way in the coming year and leave us anxiously waiting for them. In honor of the upcoming games, I decided to go ahead and list the 10 biggest games that got announced last year and we already got. All of that being said let's just get right into the list.

1. Batman Arkham Knight

The game many had been waiting for ever since the conclusion to Arkham City and although we had Origins come after too many it just wasn't the same. We got the trailers and it felt like we were back to the magic that Arkham City was and it felt right. The game came and with it some mixed reviews here and there but at the end of the day, it was a great conclusion to an amazing series.

2. Call Of Duty Black Ops III

You either love them or hate them but there is no denying the Call Of Duty franchise is a force to be reckoned with in the video game industry. The announcement of every new game in the series brings a lot of hype with the fans and brings in new ones. This latest installment did that just as well as the other gaining many positive reviews and giving the players, even more, zombie goodness.

3. Devil May Cry 4

If you've never played the Devil May Cry series then go ahead and get to it right now especially if you're into a good story with awesome fighting controls. The series is one that has kept up with the times as well and continues to get better each time. When players got the news of a new Devil May Cry game after 10 years it was nothing short of amazement from everyone.

4. Doom

This is the game that really got everyone talking when the trailer premiered and had many of us anxiously awaiting to fight demons in space once again. The Doom franchise could be summed up in one word and that is BRUTAL and this installment delivers that. It not only gives us the nostalgic feeling of playing the old Doom titles but comes with a very awesome new multiplayer. You have that and throw in some custom map making and you get a very awesome game to entertain you for hours on end.

5. Fallout 4

It seemed that E3 was the year full of nostalgic games coming back for another chance in the world of new consoles. One of those titles and a really hot talk at last year's E3 was the next installment in the Fallout series, Fallout 4. The game gave players a full range of customizations for their player and a huge map to play on. It was everything players wanted and definitely a lot more than expected.

6. Halo 5 Guardians

When you think of video game characters that are legendary you think of Mario, Sonic, Snake, and probably Mega Man. You should also probably add Master Chief into the list as he has proven time and time again he is here to stay. The latest game Halo 5 proved that the series still has a lot going for it and we are all now awaiting the next one.

7. Mirror's Edge Catalyst

The first time we saw Mirror Edge back in 2008 we all got immediately mesmerized from the parkour style the game introduced. Mirrors Edge also had some of the most beautiful and stunning graphics for its time, making it one of the games to look out for. The latest in the installment Mirror's Edge Catalyst which serves as a prequel to the 2008 game looks to be doing the same 8 years later. It's a game that may have just been released but is getting praised considerably by gamers and reviewers alike.

8. Overwatch

I'm not going to lie I wasn't that excited about Overwatch when it was first announced at E3 last year. I mean don't get me wrong I wasn't hating on it either but just didn't know what to think. The feeling has changed so much for me concerning this game and I'm absolutely loving it. This game really is for everyone with tons of characters to choose from and maps to play on. I mean the game had over 9 million people playing so that should tell you how amazing it is.

9. Star Wars Battlefront

The more I go over this list the more I think about the nostalgia that filled last year's E3 and this entry is no different. We got word of the latest in the Star Wars Battlefront series and with the hype of Force Awakens, that year made it a force to be reckoned with. The game had beautiful graphics as well as gameplay that gave players all over many options. Once it was released it was the game you had to have because everyone was on it.

10. Uncharted 4 A Thief's End

It's always bittersweet when it comes to a game series coming to an end. This was the case with the latest and last installment in the Uncharted franchise that truly felt like a breath of fresh air. Nathan Drake was a video game character that felt so human it was just hard not to love him. The last installment A Thief's End has given us a conclusion to the series and left many fans with tears of joy and gained a completely perfect rating.

All of those titles that were announced and shown at E3 last year have come and done amazing with the fans. It's now time however to look forward at the upcoming E3 and see what new titles we're getting this year and the next. I hope you've had the chance to play any of these titles and if you haven't I suggest you get on it!
