For all of you Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare fans who are also huge Game of Thrones buffs, do we have some news for you! Game of Thrones' very own Kit Harington will be playing the role of the main enemy of the next Call of Duty installment. This isn't his first time doing voice over work (How To Train Your Dragon 2), nor is it his first work on a video game (Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series). However, it's hard for one to wrap their head around Jon Snow as the villain of this first person shooter!

Harington's character was brought to life with the assistance of Guy Ritchie, who had also assisted with the live-action trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Check out this awesome behind-the-scenes footage from the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare motion capture set!

Many might see this as a weird casting choice, but Taylor Kurosaki, narrative director, Infinity Ward says otherwise:

Kit is an amazing talent, and the consummate pro. Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front. We can’t wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character.”

I'm totally looking forward to seeing where Harington takes this character, as it's pretty strange to imagine Jon Snow as a villain. Make sure to try out Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which hits the shelves on November 4! What do you think of this casting choice? Sound off in the comments below!
