Including Volumetric God Rays!

Almost 5 years after it's initial release, Skyrim is still one of the most popular games amongst the gaming community. Thanks to its devout fans creating an endless supply of mods, the seemingly never ending game just keeps getting bigger. Now Bethesda have officially thanked their fans for their endless support. The gaming company have just announced Skyrim: Special Edition at their E3 conference for PC, Xbox One and PS4!

As a devout fan of The Elder Scrolls series, this is a marvellous occasion for me. I have patiently waited for Xbox to make Skyrim and Oblivion available on backwards compatibility, but I will take a remastering any day of the year!

Not only will the game have updated graphics and "volumetric god rays", the console versions will support PC mods! This means I can finally fight a dragon in the shape of Thomas the Tank Engine!

While we just bask in the beauty of these updated graphics, let's remind ourselves of quite possibly the greatest Skyrim mod of all time.

Skyrim: Special Edition releases on October 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PS4!
