One Batch, Two Batch, Penny And A Dime

One of my favorite indie games of all time, State of Decay, is finally receiving a sequel. The original State of Decay, an open-world survival zombie game, was exactly the kind of zombie game I had been looking for. It had a completely open world, vehicles, scavenging, permanent deaths, and more! It was not a perfect game by any means, but it had such an awesome charm that it never got old.

One of the biggest gripes players had about State of Decay was the lack of any co-op multiplayer. It would have been so much better if we could have played with a few of our friends but, with the sequel, our prayers may have been answered!

Does The Trailer Reveal 'State of Decay 2' Multiplayer?

From the start of the trailer, we see not only one survivor but three. In the original game, you could bring along one survivor with you into the world to go scavenging — but three? That has to mean multiplayer, right?

Multiplayer was easily one of the biggest request for the original State of Decay, and I think they have no choice but to add it into the sequel. It would be a real game-changer, and with the impending release of 7 Days To Die on consoles, fans are hungry for a great co-op zombie game. Seems to me that that is exactly what we are getting!

It Looks Amazing Either Way!

I still enjoyed State of Decay an extreme amount even without the co-op, so I will still have fun with the sequel; however, I think for the fan base as a whole, it is crucial to add in a co-op mode. How fun would it be to drive around in a pick-up smashing zombies heads in? Endless fun!

Will you still play 'State of Decay 2' if it doesn't have a co-op mode? Let us know in the comments!
