ReCore will be the AAA smash of 2016! ReCore was many a gamer’s favourite E3 experience last year, and it would seem that, yet again, it has stolen the hearts of the audience.
Microsoft has certainly upped its game this year. Amongst many other thrilling titles, the gameplay reveal of the highly anticipated futuristic smash, ReCore, took center stage.
The latest details to come out of E3 show us that in this barren wasteland, dogs (although robotic) are still as loyal as ever and that robots are now a girl's best friend. We already knew that ReCore looked incredible, but this new gameplay reveal explores a world that will allow for almost unparalleled in-game immersion.
This upcoming action-adventure comes from the collaborative efforts of Concept and Armature Studio and is spearheaded by Joseph Staten, whom you may know as co-creator of both the Halo and Destiny universes.
The new gameplay details a number of previously unseen robot characters alongside all-new and truly stunning gameplay. Joule will be accompanied by her faithful companion Mack and, with the help of their robot friends, must resurrect humanity and save the world. No big deal, right?
As expected, the game looks to be a mash-up of Destiny, Halo, and Star Wars. As you can imagine, any game that shares these genetics is going to play out well.
Microsoft also revealed that ReCore will release September 13th and will be playable on the all-new Xbox Play Anywhere System. This basically means that you will be able to play on both Xbox One and PC.
