At last! At long last we can play Crash Bandicoot again, and this time in a lovely remastered version! Announced during Sony's press conference at E3 2016, the legendary orange marsupial will be crashing (ha, get it?) onto our next gen screens.

A partnership between Activision and the original IP holders Naughty Dog has come to fruition, which has lead to getting remasters of the original trilogy – Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped.

If that pleasant drop of news wasn't enough, Crash is also set to make an appearance in Skylanders!

But, this implementation into Skylanders may mean more than initially perceived. This new character model looks pretty good and it would be a shame if it wasn't perhaps some kind of testing for a full entry in a Crash Bandicoot reboot series? Or maybe I'm just being too optimistic...
