The Sony press conference at E3 brought with it bucketloads of epic gaming nostalgia. Part of which came in the form of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The impressive reveal followed on from Infinity Wards incredible demonstration of their upcoming shooter smash, Infinite Warfare.

The trailer that followed the newest entry was met by a resounding roar that almost blew the lid off the building. And we can see why - this is a title that has been on the wish list of millions of players for years. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is hailed as one of the most successful game series’ to date and the demand for a remake has been extremely high for almost a decade.

The world asked and Infinity Ward delivered. The new edition of the fan-favourite title, Modern Warfare is officially being coined ‘Modern Warfare Remastered’ -- the game provides players with a level of in game fidelity that you would expect to find in any current generation game.

I have to say, this game looks just as good as any other shooter out today and what makes it even better is the fact that it is the first of the golden pack Activision remakes.

The game has been totally overhauled with entirely new aesthetics being rendered which will work alongside the latest technological advancements the industry has to offer to produce a game that will sit comfortably alongside the best that this generation has to offer. With slick mechanics and a majorly ramped up frame rate Call of Duty 4 is looking absolutely phenomenal.

Take a look at the hotly anticipated trailer for Modern Warfare Remastered. This trailer will bring all those epic moment memories come flooding back. Be prepared watching the following video may cause involuntary goose bumps, uncontrollable screaming and maybe even a nostalgic tear or two. Roll the film.

Looks like a new game right? Call of Duty officially blew my mind this year. The Infinity Warfare gameplay demo shattered all previous misconceptions and this latest Modern Warfare trailer truly hammered home the reminder that this series is still the boss around here.

Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered will release on November 4, 2016.
