Celebs are notorious for living the lavish lifestyle, traveling the world and having a million assistants to help them out with work, since they are short on time often. But just like anyone else, celebs need their little time off too, and while some of them might treat themselves to an extravagant vacation or a fancy trip to the spa, others are just like you and me and rather sit back, relax and enjoy a bad ass day of video gaming. These next celebs enjoy a good old fashion day of potato couch sitting with a controller glued to their hands and let the games begin.
Aside from making millions of fans around the world laugh with his incomparable roles, the late comedian Robin Williams was in fact a big time gamer, so much in fact that he named his daughter Zelda, after the iconic game The Legend of Zelda to which he was a big fan of the Ocarina of Time series. He was also a fan of Call of Duty, Portal and World of Warcraft. 2. Michael Phelps

One of the things that made the hit movie 'Xmen: Apocalypse' a success, was the introduction of new characters such as Psylocke played by the alluring, Olivia Munn. Aside from being an actress she was also the co-host for the G4 gaming series Attack of the Show (AOTS) so it's no surprise that she's a gamer at heart. As much as she's a game lover, she does not have a specific fave.
4. Henry Cavill
You might know him as the guy who took on Batman in Batman VS Superman:Dawn of Justice, he played the man of steel himself Superman, but for a minute and a half there he almost lost out on the part thanks to his gaming addiction to games such as World of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls and Skyrim. When director Zack Snyder was trying to contact Cavill, sources say that he kept ignoring his calls and missing out on some meetings which almost cost him the role. Finally, he realized he was in hot water and thankfully snapped out of it.
5. Zac Efron
Unfortunately, the star of Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates wasn't as lucky as Cavill. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens called it quits back in 2010, and all thanks to Zac's obsession with his X-box, which coincidentally Vanessa got for him the Christmas before. The situation got so bad between them that Vanessa gave him an ultimatum, me or the X-box? Well, we all know how that ended and who won.
6. Michael Fassbender
Another X-Men alumni graces our list thanks to his dedication and his love for gaming. Michael Fassbender is a big Assasin's Creed fan, so much in fact that he will be starring as Callum Lynch and Aguilar de Nerha in the film adaptation of the game, out this coming December. He will also be serving as co-producer through his DMC film banner. When people asked him how much of the film would remain faithful to the game he responded:
"You know, we absolutely want to respect the game. There's so much cool stuff in the game that we're actually spoiled for choice in terms of what we can use and what we can't, but we also want to bring new elements to it and perhaps our own version of things that already exist in the game. But we're definitely making a feature film, and we're approaching it as a feature film, as opposed to approaching it as a video game. But I love the world... When I met up with the guys from Ubisoft and they started to explain this whole world and the idea of DNA memory – you know, I think it's a very feasible scientific theory. I just thought, 'This is so rich,' and about the possibility of it being this cinematic experience. So I'm really excited about it, and we're working very hard to make sure that we've got the best and most exciting, original package."
7. Snoop Dog
Legendary rapper, actor and activist Snoop Dogg known for many hits out there is also a fan of the gaming world. One of his favorite things to do is play 'live' on X-box, so in January 16th when the servers went crashing down, the dogg wasn't too happy about it and called out Microsoft and X-box owner tycoon Bill Gates himself. He threaten to switch to rival company's Sony Ps4 if servers weren't fixed (among other words) you can check it out in the video below. He also stars in the game 'Way of the Dogg' available at the App store.
8. Shad 'Bow Wow' Moss
You might have recently spotted Moss as former black hat hacker Brody Nelson in the canceled t.v series CSI: Cyber, but now that he has a little bit more free time on his hands, he can continue his winning streak on Madden and NBA 2K. Moss is proud of his accomplishments that even posts them on a series of Youtube videos.
9. Michelle Rodriguez
The all around kick ass star of the Fast & Furious saga has graced our list due to her passion for games such as Doom and Call of Duty. Rodriguez has spent many hours behind the controller along with co-star Vin Diesel (which is one of her playing buddies) so when she's not driving hard and fast, you can catcher in some fancy island vacationing right next to her X-box.
10. Matthew Perry
One of our favorite ex's Friend's Matthew Perry aka Chanandler Bong (yes I went there lol) was so infatuated with Fallout 3 that he was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome due to his 400+ hrs of none stop gaming. Perry has since then toned down the gaming circuit but will always be a gamer at heart, within reason.
