The one thing that will excite people the most on Injustice 2 is going to be the characters. Who will make it? Will Doomsday make a return? Will Poison Ivy enter the battlefield? How about Blue Beetle? There are a number of possibilities, but the most anxious possibility is the guest characters. With Scorpion emerging into the world of DC, that opens the doors to the possibilities of more special individuals hopping into the game, some characters that have had run ins with a few heroes, others that are very unknown to DC heroes, but nonetheless it's going to be interesting to see who will be pulled into the battlefield. Let's take a look at some interesting characters that could be guests for Injustice 2.

#1 Spawn

May as well dish this one out first since it's obvious. Spawn! Al Simmons is not exactly the friendliest person to come across. With the powers and the tragic backstory, there's no wonder why this one isn't exactly the nice guy in the room. Spawn is one of the most powerful characters in comics, having the ability to teleport, shapeshift, travel through portals, conjure magic, super strength, enhanced reflexes, immortality, nigh invulnerability, etc. Spawn had his fair share of unfortunate crossovers with Batman. It pretty much ended sour, but Batman knew that this man was no ordinary man and he surely was Hell on Earth walking among men. Spawn didn't exactly make the cut in Mortal Kombat X (Thanks a lot Ed Boon), but could he pop up and tussle with Batman once more along with the rest of the Justice League? Let's hope so!

Should Spawn be a guest character?

#2 Judge Dredd

He is the law! The man who plays the role Judge, Jury, and Executioner! Judge Dredd is a very popular character with his harsh no nonsense attitude that is gritty and very obedient and loyal to the law itself. Can you see Dredd having an issue with those that disobey the regime? Dredd has had his fair share of taking action into his own hands for the security and the balance while punishing those that dare cross him and his journey to keeping order and justice alive and strong. Dredd had his moment of butting heads with others, specifically an incident of him running into a certain Dark Knight as well as the intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo. It didn't end well, then again it never ends well when Judge Dredd is called to dispatch The Lawgiver on the lawbreakers.

Would you like to see Dredd induce dread?

#3 Hellboy

The creature which would become known as Hellboy first appeared the night of December 23, 1944, when the evil mystic Grigori Rasputin summoned Hellboy to Earth with the help of the Third Reich. Let's just say he's the kind of person you'd want on your side in a fight. With his occult knowledge, experience in killing things that go bump in the night on a daily basis, and his chaotic Right Hand of Doom. Hellboy is one hell of a character (no pun intended) and his history is pretty intense. With his little momentary path crossed with Batman (seriously, how many of these guys came across Batman?) and his momentary assistance with The Dark Knight, it'd be nice to see Hellboy put up his dukes and perhaps give a hand (pun intended) in keeping the regime from rising again.

Does Hellboy need to pop up and give some beatdowns?

#4 V

An idealist, a fighter, an anarchist, an idea. The man named V who has been seen as many things. Terrorist, monster, hero, etc. Who can say? V is quite the character with indominable will, a strong character with unbelievable charisma and skills that help his cause. Who's to say he can't pop up and show that the regime is just another mask to keep people from seeing the ugly truth of living in a world of ash while your government calls it snow. V was, like The Watchmen published by DC, but has never really been in the universe, but that can change real fast and give him a little shine of the light once more.

Should there be a Vendetta put in Injustice 2?

#5 Jackie Estacado

The man that is the host for a primordial entity. Jackie Estacado is The Darkness. A powerful character that is a cold blooded killer turned Anti-Hero who has the power to be pretty much a god when the lights go out. Jackie is a skilled hitman and a very brutal individual that would do very very horrible things to you, especially when the lights are turned off. The Darkness alone is a threat to many many lives, but it can also turn the tides in the right hands with the right or wrong people. Jackie has had his fair share of run ins with heroes that are real big names like Batman (of course), Hulk, Wolverine, even The Man of Steel himself!

Will The Darkness reign down on the DC heroes once more?

That's all for now, but perhaps there's gonna be a part two? Stay tuned in the future and we'll see who else could potentially pop up from another world and jump into the field! Who would you like to see guest star in the game?
