Nintendo will be coming out with its new system, the NX, in March, but in the meantime Nintendo looks cash in some nostalgia from long time gamers. They've recently made an announcement that will set any 80s and 90s kid's heart a flutter. Nintendo will be releasing a miniature version of the NES pre-installed with classic NES games - including some of the best Nintendo launch titles.

The system will also come with a classic controller and can be plugged into your TV via an HDMI cable. The system will be released November 11th and will retail for $59.99.

Designed to be a "near identical, mini-replica" of the classic system, the Nintendo Classic Mini comes with 30 games in total. For games that allow it, there will be two player functionality and a second controller can be purchased for $9.99. The entire line up is as follows:

  • Balloon Fight
  • Bubble Bobble
  • Castlevania
  • Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
  • Donkey Kong
  • Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Double Dragon II: The Revenge
  • Dr. Mario
  • Excitebike
  • Final Fantasy
  • Galaga
  • Ghosts N' Goblins
  • Gradius
  • Ice Climber
  • Kid Icarus
  • Kirby's Adventure
  • Mario Bros.
  • Mega Man 2
  • Metroid
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • Pac-Man
  • Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
  • StarTropics
  • Super C
  • Super Mario Bros.
  • Super Mario Bros. 2
  • Super Mario Bros. 3
  • Tecmo Bowl
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

How's that for a Throwback Thursday? Here's hoping a Mini-N64 is in the works for the console's 20th anniversary...
