By now Pokémon GO players have become experts on catching these magnificent creatures, except for the elusive Charizard. However, if we can remember from the first season of Pokémon, we can guess where these Pokémon will appear on Pokémon Go. However, a little help on where to find Pokemon wouldn’t hurt. We’ll be covering the locations of the following types: Normal, Bug, Grass, Dragon, Electric, and Fairy.

Normal Type Pokémon

As we all aware Pidgey and Rattata appear everywhere - just like in real life. No matter where you are, from the public bathroom, walking around the park or your backyard. The normal type Pokémon include: Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, Rattata, Raticate, Spearow, Fearow, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Meowth, Persian, Farfetch’d, Doduo, Dodrio, Lickitung, Chansey, Kangaskhan, Tauros, Ditto, Eevee, Porygon, and Snorlax.

Bug Type Pokémon

Like the normal Pokémon Weedle and Caterpie appear on almost all grass locations. Such as, farmlands, parks, and forests. Virtually anywhere considered a flora site. So you better visit your neighborhood garden to find the following Pokémon: Caterpie, Metapod, Butterfree, Weedle, Kakuna, Beedrill, Paras, Parasect, Venonat, Venomoth, Scyther and Pinsir.

Grass Type Pokémon

As we know if you want a grass type Pokémon you should basically search at grassy areas although the probability will be high that you'll catch a bug type Pokémon instead. However, if you want to find a Bulbasaur, you should look at parks, gardens, and golf courses. Just be careful and don't get hit in the head by a golf ball. Grass-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO are limited to: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victreebell, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Tangela, Paras and Parasect.

Dragon Type Pokémon

If you haven't seen the video that Charizard appeared in Central Park, then you know that you should keep your mouth close, catch it and walk away. You can find these elusive Dragon-type Pokémon - Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite - at ‘places of interest’ in other words famous places or landmarks.

Electric Type Pokémon

If you don't have Pikachu as your starter Pokémon or on your team, don't worry. You can find Pikachu, Raichu, Magnemite, Magneton, Voltorb, Electrode, Electabuzz, Jolteon and Legendary Zapdos at the following locations: industrial parks, your schools and university campuses, and other metal jungles. Although Zapdos is not available in this version of Pokémon GO, so wait for the next update.

Fairy Type Pokémon

DO NOT fall for Jigglypuff's song; you can find these cute fairy types at the same location as Dragon types, i.e. famous places. But you can also find them in cemeteries and churches. Remember, their appearance probabilities are higher during the night hours. Fairy-type Pokémon includes Clefairy, Clefable, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, and the NOT ACTUALLY A POKÉMON Mr. Mime.

Although these Pokémon may appear at these locations, their appearance probability may differ, for example, Pidgey appearance probability may be 75% while an Eevee might be 25%.
