Continuing with part 2 of our 3 part Where To Find Pokémon on 'Pokémon GO' we'll be discussing the locations of our favorite: Flying, Poison, Ground, Psychic, Water, and Fighting-type Pokémon.

Flying Type Pokémon

The probability of catching a Flying-type Pokémon is attributed to their flying capabilities. Consequently, you'll find these airborne creatures at the old MacDonald farm, forests, woods and grassy areas where Grass-type Pokémon would be found.

Like in the series Flying-type Pokémon are basically your Charizard, Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, Spearow, Fearow, Farfetch’d, Doduo, Dodrio, Butterfree, Zubat, Golbat, Scyther, Aerodactyl, Gyarados, Dragonite and the three legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Remember that Flying-type Pokémon are a subclass.

Don't worry Niantic will not lead you to a dangerous area. Although you should bring your rain boots as these Pokémon can be found at places considered as wetlands, i.e. marshes and ponds, the edge of a lake or ocean, the delta at the mouth of a river, low-lying areas that frequently flood. However, like in the series these poison Pokémon can also be found in industrial zones.

The list of Poison-type Pokémon extends to a whopping 33 Pokémon: Ekans, Arbok, Nidoran (Female), Nidorina, Nidoran (Male), Nidorino, Grimer, Muk, Koffing, Weezing, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Zubat, Golbat, Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Weedle, Kakuna. Beedrill, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Venonat, Venomoth, Bellsprout, Weepinbell, Victreebel, Tentacool, Tentacruel, Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar

This is obvious, just look down. Well not exactly, Ground-type are a bit tricky if you live in suburbs. You have to go into the city or urban areas, such as parking garages - WATCH OUT FOR CARS - train stations or railways. Other locations where these types have also spawned are ditches and streams. Ground-types include Sandshrew, Sandslash, Diglett, Dugtrio, Cubone, Marowak, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Geodude, Graveler, Golem, and Onix

Psychic Type Pokémon

You don't need to visit a fortuneteller to find a Psychic-type Pokémon. The list of clairvoyant creatures consists of Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Drowzee, Hypno, Mr. Mime, Slowpoke, Slowbro, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Starmie, and Jynx. These Psychic-type Pokémon, especially Drowzee can be found in grassy areas. However, it's been reported that they've also been seen in the suburbs but apparently during the evening.

Water Type Pokémon

The easiest place where you can find a Staryu is near a body of water. However, which kind of water Pokémon you'll get correlate on how large the body of water is. For example, you may find a Psyduck near a small lake and a Lapras on the beach.

In all the Pokémon that you'll find near a body of water are Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Psyduck, Golduck, Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Seel, Shellder, Krabby, Kingler, Horsea, Seadra, Goldeen, Seaking, Staryu, Magikarp, Vaporeon, Poliwrath, Tentacool, Tentacruel, Slowpoke, Slowbro, Dewgong, Cloyster, Starmie, Gyarados, Lapras, Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, and Kabutops

Fighting Type Pokémon

This is a great excuse to visit a REAL GYM as fighting Pokémon such as Mankey have spawned near places where people do physical activities, e.g. Muscle Beach. As a result, you may find one or more of Mankey, Primeape, Machop, Machoke, Machamp, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, and Poliwrath near sports stadiums and large gyms.
