Tripwire Interactive today announced that Killing Floor 2 will land globally for PC and PS4 on November 18, 2016.
Killing Floor 2 is a co-op based multiplayer FPS in which you and up to 5 other players must survive against waves of gruesome "zeds" -- the failed, mutated results of Horzine Biotech's experiments.
The zeds have spread at an unprecedented rate and overtaken the European Union, leaving you and a band of mercenaries to clean up the mess. Upon tracking specimen zed outbreaks, your 6-person team descends into zed-laden hot zones to exterminate them in increasingly difficult waves.
Of course, cleaning up the zed menace will require making a considerable mess in the process.
Bring on the blood, gore, and body parts
Killing Floor 2 amps up the gore with a unique, proprietary "persistent blood system" enabling you to blast the entrails, severed limbs, and everything else clean off (or out of) your enemies in gruesome fashion with a huge array of melee weapons and firearms. Perks from the original game have also been revised and improved to provide new improvements and progression paths for your characters.
Killing Floor 2 is developed by Tripwire Interactive and will be published for retail by Iceberg Interactive for PC and Deep Silver for the PS4 globally on November 18, 2016.
The digital PC base version of Killing Floor 2 will be available to purchase for $29.99 (US), ₤19.99 (UK) and €26.99 (EU) via Steam® and other digital outlets as well as the PC Digital Deluxe version for $39.99 (US) /£29.99 (UK) /€39.99 (EU).
In collaboration with Deep Silver and Iceberg Interactive, the deluxe content of KILLING FLOOR 2 will be included in the PC and PlayStation®4 retail and digital versions for $39.99 (US) /£29.99 (UK) /€39.99 (EU).
