Regardless of your opinion of the PS4 Pro announcement, PlayStation's decision to get up front in the race for innovation has stormed the gaming world. While it doesn't seem to match the spec of Microsoft's upcoming Project Scorpio, a huge amount of gamers are paying attention.

If you were unable to experience the 4K goodness of the PS4 Pro event, due to not owning a 4K TV yet, then you will be able to see it for the first time in the UK and in action at this year's EGX at the Birmingham NEC from September 22nd through to the 25th. Although it won't be a hands on affair, you will get the chance to see what all the commotion is about.

With the PS4 Pro scheduled to release in the UK on November 10th, Sony will be hoping that this eyes-on opportunity will further boost the excitement.

According to the announcement, PlayStation 4 Pro will improve PS4 gaming by supporting the latest imaging technology through 4K resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR). Existing PS4 games will receive a visual boost thanks to the PS4 Pro's more powerful GPU and faster CPU.
